Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of directsigns.co.uk and your purchase of goods and services from Direct Signs ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Direct Signs is a UK sign manufacturer trading from England. Our contact details are info@directsigns.co.uk.

2. Orders

An order is accepted only when we send you an order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any order. Custom orders require artwork approval before production starts.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices on our website are exclusive of VAT and delivery unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at the point of order via Shopify's payment processor. We accept major debit and credit cards. Trade and account customers may be offered net payment terms following credit checks.

4. Delivery

Stock items are dispatched within 1 working day of order placement (orders before 2pm). Custom orders typically dispatch within 3-5 working days from artwork approval. UK mainland delivery is 1-3 working days. Highlands, islands, and offshore locations 3-5 working days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Risk and title

Risk in goods passes to you on delivery. Title in goods remains with us until we receive payment in full.

6. Returns

See our Returns Policy for full details. Stock items may be returned within 14 days for refund. Custom orders are non-returnable unless faulty.

7. Faulty goods

If goods are faulty on delivery, contact us within 7 days. We will refund, replace, or repair as appropriate under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the goods in question, except where liability cannot be limited by law (death, personal injury, fraud).

9. Compliance

Our standard products comply with BS EN ISO 7010 and applicable UK regulations. Custom orders are produced to your specification — you are responsible for ensuring your specification meets the relevant regulations for your premises.

10. Intellectual property

All website content, including images, text, and design, is the property of Direct Signs or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without permission.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
