Our story

Direct Signs started in the Midlands in 1980 as a small sign-making workshop. Forty years on, we are one of the UK's most established sign manufacturers, supplying everything from single bespoke signs to whole-site signage refreshes for enterprise customers.

What hasn't changed is the model: design and manufacture every sign in the UK, work with customers on whatever they need (one piece or one thousand), and treat every sign as a real piece of work — not a commodity.

We make four kinds of signage:

• Safety signs — the full BS EN ISO 7010 range, over 1,900 stock products
• Wayfinding systems — designed for complex sites
• Site signage — for construction, industrial, and outdoor sites
