Acrylic letters give a premium, three-dimensional appearance that flat-printed signs can't match. Direct Signs cuts and fabricates acrylic letters from sheet stock, in any size from 50mm to 500mm+ tall. Standard finishes are solid colour throughout (cast acrylic), polished edge (CNC-routed acrylic), or illuminated (acrylic face with LED behind, or halo-lit configurations).

Common applications: shop front lettering above or beside main signs, reception wall logos and lettering, feature signage in corporate offices and hospitality venues, exhibition stands, and high-end retail interiors.

Acrylic Letters FAQs

What thickness should I choose?
10mm is the standard for most reception and shop applications. 5mm for smaller letters. 20-25mm for premium feature signage. Thickness affects edge appearance and three-dimensional impact.

Can letters be illuminated?
Yes — two main configurations. Halo-lit means LED is mounted behind solid letters with a stand-off, projecting a glow onto the wall behind. Front-lit means the letter face is translucent with LED inside.

How are letters mounted?
Stand-off pins (letters project 15-25mm from the wall) or flush adhesive mount. Stand-off looks more premium and is the standard for reception and feature signage. Adhesive is used for budget installations.
